RE: HWH or Atwood levelers

I have Atwood on my motorhome and have not had many problems. Only those caused by Fleetwood in the installation. I have also sold HWH. Both are good systems and will give you good service.

RE: Expecting 50 mph winds

Last year we were in a wind and fire storm here in California with very high wind. We were camping at a park and had our sides out. Yes, it kept us awake all night but nothing else happened, except a lot of rock and roll. We left the next day for less windy conditions.

RE: HDTV Upgrade

Do you really get all the HD channels? I have Directv and have installed the tri-sat switch and had KVH factory rep adjust everything but still don't get half of the HD channels. I get ESPN but not ESPN2 in HD. I love HD and want what I get a home while on the road. I'm hoping that when Directv get through moving their HD to the new bird, that it will work better.

RE: Replace Window

Atwood should talk to you, but if not go to a auto window glass company and let them recommend a sealer. Joy, was right it does take two people to get the job done right. A silicone sealer would probably be better than butyl tape.

RE: Gray Tank Issue

Hi LLt,
Look under the vent for your refrigerator. Some manufactures ran the vent up the space by the refer. You can possibly see this from the access door on the side of the coach. The bladder tools work great and will not hurt the plumbing. All tanks have a vent, usually the toilet tank uses either the shower or lav sink are together. The grey tank has the kitchen sink and what ever else is not hooked the the black tank. Most manufactures today use what's called and automatic vent on the kitchen sink because they don't want to run the vent up the wall by the sink. Usually you can unscrew the vent and again use the bladder to flush out the line.
Good Luck

RE: Expedtion Closet Problem

The clothes hanger is the metal type which is the shelf and hanger in one. We have uses bungee cords to keep the clothes hangers from jumping off. But the whole thing keeps coming loose from the wall. Will the stud finder find metal studs. I have no idea if the studs are metal or wood.

Expedtion Closet Problem

We have a 2007 Fleetwood Expedition motorhome. The closet shelf and clothes hanger keeps coming off the wall. I drive a few hundred miles and when we open the door, all the clothes and the rack is on the floor. Last summer I used some different hangers and tried putting in a rod to the floor to support the rack, but it keeps happening. Fleetwood won't tell me what is behind the paneling and where the studs are. Does any one have a suggestion.

RE: PC or Mac?

I love the Mac, at work we have PCs and they are terribly slow and crash frequently. I have a iMac at home and MacBook that I take on the road. I had a PC laptop and could never get it to work on the road. You should visit the Mac store as recommended and play with them for awhile.

RE: New to the site...

Congrats as well, I'm new to this site as well and have only owned my diesel pusher motor home since last April. I think you'll love the life style and seeing the country. We did a long trip from Calif. to Michigan last summer and yes, do take a couple of weekend trips to work out the bugs and see what you really need to pack.
